The accident took place around 10:00 PM on July 26, 2025, as Gul Mohammad and his brother-in-law Raja, residents of Sadarpur near Sector 45, were rushing Aayat to the hospital for treatment of vomiting and diarrhea. Near Gate 3 of the Child PGI in Sector 30, a BMW, allegedly driven rashly on the wrong side, slammed into their scooter. The impact was so severe that Aayat died on the spot, while Gul and Raja sustained serious injuries. Both men are now in critical condition at a nearby hospital. The BMW, bearing a Haryana registration number, was seized, and the accused, Yash Sharma (22) and Abhishek Rawat (22), were arrested after attempting to flee.

Noida Police acted swiftly, apprehending Yash Sharma, a Sector 37 resident, and Abhishek Rawat, a restaurant owner from Sector 70, both students. They face charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rash driving and causing death by negligence.
