Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, August 6, 2025 – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Moradabad, the famed Brass City, today. He inaugurated and laid the foundation for 87 transformative development projects worth ₹1,172 crore, aimed at boosting the city’s all-round growth. The visit, filled with energy and purpose, showcased the state government’s commitment to uplifting Moradabad’s infrastructure, education, and economy.
CM arrived in Bilari’s Pipli village by helicopter, where he inaugurated the Atal Residential School, a key initiative to strengthen education for the region’s youth. His itinerary included visits to significant sites like the Samvidhan Sahitya Vatika, where he paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue, honoring the legacy of India’s Constitution. He also explored the Gautam Buddha Waste Management Awareness Centre, a creative project promoting sustainable waste management practices, and toured Hanuman Vatika and Spandan Sarovar, which aim to enhance Moradabad’s green spaces and cultural heritage.
In line with the CM Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign), Yogi Adityanath distributed cheques to young entrepreneurs, empowering them to start or grow their businesses. He also handed out certificates and tablets to beneficiaries of various government schemes, reinforcing the state’s focus on inclusive growth. These efforts are set to create jobs and support local economies, aligning with the CM’s vision of a prosperous Uttar Pradesh.
During a public address, the CM emphasized how these projects reflect the state’s commitment to holistic development. He contrasted the current progress with the challenges of the past, taking a swipe at the Samajwadi Party’s rule, which he said was marred by a “one district, one mafia” mindset that stifled growth. “Today, Moradabad and Uttar Pradesh are safer and more welcoming for all,” he said, highlighting improved security for women and businesses over the last seven years. His witty remarks about the opposition’s lack of vision drew smiles from the crowd.
Despite heavy rainfall causing waterlogging around event venues, the administration ensured smooth arrangements, with a traffic diversion plan restricting heavy vehicles after 2 PM to manage crowds and ensure safety. The CM also met with MPs, MLAs, and Legislative Council members from the Moradabad division to review ongoing projects, ensuring that development remains on track.
Locals expressed enthusiasm about the new projects, hopeful that they will bring better infrastructure, education, and job opportunities to Moradabad. From schools to green initiatives and entrepreneurial support, today’s visit marks a significant step toward making Moradabad a model of sustainable and inclusive growth under the Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas ethos.
