
Kasganj, August 17, 2025 – A quiet morning in Bachhuiya village, under Kasganj’s Sikandarpur Vaishya police station, turned chaotic when a dispute over a bullock cart spiraled into violence. Two groups clashed with sticks and rods, leaving four people from one side seriously injured. The victims, identified as Omveer, his wife Mamta, their 12-year-old son Deepak, and Rajkumar, were rushed to a local hospital. Rajkumar’s condition worsened, and he was later shifted to a hospital in Aligarh for advanced treatment.
As per reports, the trouble began when a disagreement over taking a bullock cart through a narrow village path turned heated. According to the victims’ family, the other group, led by local strongmen Shaitan, Swaraj, Devendra, and Upendra, attacked them without warning. . The family alleges that the police only arranged a medical examination for Rajkumar, ignoring the other three victims’ injuries, which has fueled anger and disagreements.
Police from the 112 emergency service arrived quickly and took both groups to the Sikandarpur Vaishya station for questioning. A case has been filed, but villagers claim the police are downplaying the incident. The police say they’re investigating and will ensure justice. Meanwhile, the village remains tense, with families demanding action against the accused. The incident highlights the need for better conflict resolution in rural areas, where small arguments can quickly turn violent.
