The incident took place in Gurugram’s Rajendra Park area. According to police, Mushtaq, posing as “Ajit,” lived with Pooja in a live-in relationship before marrying her. When Pooja learned his true identity, the trio allegedly planned and executed her murder in a brutal manner. Police have arrested all three suspects, and an investigation is underway.

The police report states that Mushtaq, who initially introduced himself as Ajit, gained Pooja’s trust and lived with her for some time. After their marriage, Pooja discovered Mushtaq’s real identity, which reportedly led to a confrontation. In a horrifying act, Mushtaq allegedly beheaded Pooja, while Saddam Hussain held her hands and Abbu Ali Ahmad restrained her legs. The police have recovered the murder weapon and are gathering forensic evidence.

A senior police officer stated, “This is a heinous crime, and we are ensuring a thorough investigation to bring justice to the victim.” The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for murder and conspiracy. The police are also investigating whether there was any prior motive or planning involved. The victim’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to gather more evidence.
